New York, New York

Welcome to the Big Apple! I have always wanted to visit New York, so I took my chances during the winter to check it out for myself. Being a Cali girl all my life, I was not prepared for the freezing temperatures in February. But seeing snow for the first time, it distracted me from the feeling of frostbite on my fingers. I hit up all the touristy spots I could fit into two days!

Golden hour in NYC

Day 1: After getting off the plane, I couldn’t wait to get my feet wet with all that NYC has to offer. Of course, I had to get the iconic views of Manhattan by visiting Top of The Rocks and also the iconic night lights of Time Square. Sadly, I didn’t get a chance to skating on the rinks of Rockefeller but still happy to people watch with a cup of hot chocolate besides the rink.

Day 2: Having a full day to explore, I wanted to hit up the most iconic buildings around Manhattan. In a few hours, I hit up Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, and 911 Memorial. And luckily, I was able to catch the last boat out to the Statue of Liberty. Nothing can compare to standing at the base of the statue during sunset. I can check-off NYC off my bucket list.
