Hawker centres are really popular here in Singapore to get some cheap and good food. Government regulate these food courts to make quality of food is safe to eat. While in Chinatown, I had to try some food here. I decided to get some soy sauce Chicken (Hainan Chicken) and sweet and sour fish fillets.
Food was of decent quality and filling for a day of site seeing. Another meal I had included some popular Singaporean dishes which is also common in Indonesia and Malaysia like Laksa and Panang Curry Rice. The laksa was amazing and enjoyed the spicy coconut curry soup mixed with the vermicelli noodles.

At night, I decided to walk around and enjoy the street stalls selling little souvenirs, fruits, and street food. I happen to stumble upon a yakitori restaurant right across from Bugis Street. At this restaurant, you use the iPad given at each table to place to order and each stick roughly cost around $2-$4. I also ordered the dessert which looked as good as it tasted. Also, I bargained for some durian which is popular in southeast Asia, but definitely eat it outside or the hotel room will stink all night!
