Located near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, TeaWood is a cute taiwanese cafe that specializes in all form of taiwanese cuisines. From sugary confections like brick toast and milk teas to taiwanese appetizers and noodle soups, this place is always packed with people. Most notable is their lunch combinations
which includes noodle soup/ rice dish with two choice in appetizers and a drink which is definitely worth the price. Love their rose latte, not too sweet but sadly it was so small. All their spoon utensils were shaped like shovels! Felt like I was digging my way through Taiwanese cuisines! (No pun intended)
So many noodle soups to choose from
How can you say no to these desserts
Fruit tea in a cute glass container
Optimal Milk Tea ratio as displayed by the cup
Oyster congee
Beef spare ribs kept warm in a pot
Lunch combination is the best value here! I went with the minced pork rice, with two styles of fried chicken and rose tea, of course!
Prettiest mini rose latte ever with a shovel as a spoon!
Come here and find yourself surrounded by students, couples, and local business professional! Cozy enough to stay here and chit chat all day after a day of shopping while snacking of some adorably displayed taiwanese cuisines. I may not be the most authentic Taiwanese dishes; however, the food is still tasty and the atmosphere will make you stay for dessert. Main dishes are slightly small for sharing size, but the desserts are not meant to be a one person feat.
